Quality Control Services is seeking General Construction Inspectors and Coatings Inspectors to work throughout Ohio on various highway and bridge construction projects. Qualified applicants should have prior experience in Inspection Services specific for highway and bridge construction for ODOT and LPA projects.

COATINGS INSPECTOR
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Perform inspections for bridge painting projects to ensure conformance to all plans and specifications
- Prepare detailed inspection reports documenting job site progress and findings
- Other miscellaneous duties as may be assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
- NACE CIP I-III and/or SSPC BCI 1 & 2 certifications are a must
- Qualified candidate must have a valid driver’s license and retain a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for final consideration
- Ability to read and understand plans and direction given in the English language
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to create and/or edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents
- Ability to create and/or edit Microsoft Exchange emails with attachments
- Ability to create and/or edit PDF documents
- ODOT Work Type 26 (Structural Steel Painting)
- ODOT Work Type 57 (Sealing of Concrete Surfaces)
- Experience with Site Manager, Go Formz, Mobile Inspector is a plus
GENERAL CONSTRUCTION INSPECTOR
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Perform various inspections and/or testing on highway and bridge projects to ensure conformance to all plans and specifications
- Prepare detailed inspection reports documenting jobsite progress and findings
- Other miscellaneous duties as may be assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
- ODOT Pre-Qualification in any of the following categories: Project Inspector, Structures Inspector, Construction Engineer I or II along with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in highway and bridge construction inspection
- Associate Degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Engineering Technology, Construction Management or degrees that exceed these requirements
- NICET Highway Construction Level I or II
- ACI Concrete Field Testing
- Ohio Aggregate Technician
- ODOT Flexible Pavement
- ODOT Traffic Work Zone
- Qualified candidate must have a valid driver’s license and retain a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for final consideration
